Earthquake in Haiti: help towards reconstruction

The local partner organisations and grassroots groups with whom we work in the region of the Port-au-Prince have been very strongly affected by this earthquake. We need your support in order to help them rebuild their lives.

All around the world, countries, international and humanitarian organisations have organised themselves to provide an emergency relief assistance to the Haitian population. Now, it’s all about saving lives.

But already, we must think about the future. Very soon, those benefitting from the support of Volens in their region will need to rebuild their homes and businesses, rebuild their families and rebuild their lives.

Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world. While the country was only just starting to stabilize politically and its economy giving signs of revival, everything is in for another round.
